Check out the write up and pics on Inhabitat: January 24, 2008 / So many things are in the works! 2007 has been a busy time but 2008 is going to surpass that! Currently we are working on a ball gown made from reusing non-recyclable drink pouches, commissioned by ‘TerraCycle’ and the internationally-renowned pianist Soyeon Lee. The dress will be worn at Carnegie Hall this Feb. 2008! A few weeks ago we finished a 'mini gown' for the talented singer/songwriter Kaki King to wear to the Golden Globes. Kaki had been nominated for a Best Original Score Golden Globe Award for her contributions to the Sean Penn film "Into the Wild." King was nominated for this award alongside her soundtrack collaborators, Eddie Vedder and Michael Brook. Unfortunatly we know what happended to the Golden Globes this year.... |
